Stainless Steel is a combination of Iron, Chromium and some other metals. It is a strong, durable and corrosion resistant material which is used to make a large variety of kitchen utensils, including our lunch boxes and some plates.
Is Stainless Steel safe?
Our products are made from 18/8 stainless steel which is BPA free, non-toxic and completely safe for storing food. We also test our products for quality at a premier quality testing laboratory to ensure that all products meet all our stringent requirements.
Is Stainless Steel dishwasher safe ?
Our steel products are safe to wash in dishwashers for quick and easy cleanup. These can also be handwashed with a mild soap and soft dish scrubber.
Is Stainless Steel microwave safe ?
For safety reasons, we do not recommend using our steel products in microwaves.
What is the best way to maintain the leak proof lunch boxes ?
All leak proof lunch boxes have a silicone ring in the lid which makes the container leak proof. This ring is easily removable and should be removed and cleaned after each use. The ring needs to be fitted back carefully so that the leak proof property remains. If the ring is not fitted properly, the lunch box may leak.
Is Stainless Steel better for our health and the environment than Plastic ?Stainless steel is a better material to use for storing food as it does not leach chemicals into food. When heated, some plastics may leach harmful chemicals into food and increasing exposure to these chemicals may be detrimental to health. Stainless steel does not leach any such harmful chemicals. It is also safer for the environment as it is 100% recyclable.
